5 Tips for Affiliate Networking
Jim Kukral mentioned Adobe Visual Communicator on his new How To Do Online Video blog so I thought I would give it a try. I’ve barely put the features to use but once I get hold of a green screen background I’ll see what more I can do! The multi camera and live streaming options certainly seem like the most interesting features but for now I’ll make do with basic transitions and a teleprompter

Some great tips there Fraser - I think it’s great you advise people to turn up early, but telling them the event is on the 20th APRIL might be a little too early lol. See you Friday mate, we’re gonna be in town from around 2pm

Excellent one Fraser, plus a nice little poke at Frostie.
Will turning up on the 20th April be a little early?
What’s with the new hair style, is that jars of hair gel to keep the tin tin quiff up. or a just woken up look?
Seriously though, an excellent video mate.

Great short video, and you know what tip number 2 business cards, I have thousands of them here and that’s because I forget to bring them, so I am running off to take a pile out of the cupboard so I have no excuse

Hey Fraser, that was so cool! Poor Frostie, I bet he’s going to be the yardstick by which all affiliates will now be held.

Nice work, Fraser! I’ve been thinking a fair bit about how I can use video podcasts to illustrate some design pointers.
Step 1 = get a video camera

Thanks for all the comments. experimenting with video is fun but it’s so much more time consuming than just writing a blog post.
I’ll post more video when I have something interesting to record - so it’s more likely to be more of other people and less of me!

Hey Fraser, great video! Just a short note to tell you you can get a green screen at your local fabric store for a song! Look in the curtain area, you’ll need a nice thick green fabric ( so no light shows though). You’ll need 2 curtain dowels, I actuall use 2 long 1×2 slats of wood. I use crimpers ( large plier like pinchers) to hold my fabric onto the dowels. The thing is to make sure there are no wrinkles. There is another good video on how to make videos on Youtube.

Thanks for the advice Diana - I actually just picked up a green screen a few weeks ago so I look forward to putting it to good use.
