Affiliate Managers should get blogging!

I really believe that blogging is the ideal way to communicate information about your affiliate program. My email inbox is so jammed full with affiliate related newsletters, banner updates etc that I have to admit to not reading it anymore. However if I could subscribe to blogs about programs I am interested in working with then I am much more likely to read the information you could provide.

And how could an affiliate manager start blogging easily? Just take a look at http://affiliatemanagement.net/, courtesy of James Little.

I totally agree with you Fraser. We have had some great success with out affiliate blog and I think blogging for affiliate programs is beneficial to both the advertiser and the affiliate.

I spoke at the CJU conference a few months back about blogging for affiliates, and there was a lot of interest in the topic. However, it seems that not too many people are actually following through with their plans to blog.
