Affiliate Window becomes Digital Window
The affiliate network Affiliate Window are having a name change to Digital Window as of today. I’m a little puzzled by this one but I imagine all will hopefully become clear in the months to come as the reason given is that the business has diversified.
Initially it does seem a mistake to drop the word affiliate from a mainly affiliate basis but I can understand those that would say ‘affiliate’ isn’t an instantly understood word for a lot of people but I’m not sure ‘digital’ describes it any better. There are no signs yet of a different website and no clues on the existing website about what the diversification has involved.
However it may include Directserve which seems like another contextual advertising system. It will be interesting to wait and see what unfolds.
