Hi Fraser, well done - useful advice for a beginner.
If I was feeling mischievous, I may suggest that your sponsor may bear in mind your advice on domain names and the telephone test. Sounds like an interesting program, but I’d have no clue how to spell the domain name of that website that’s advertised at the end of the podcast :-p

So, where were you when I first started?? lol :) Very useful insight for anybody who is just starting or umm been around a bit, too. Especially regarding Linux and the php. I wasn’t aware of importance to be included until recently. Umm after I had chosen my hosting, so I had to quickly update my account.

Regarding Forzieri (umm I was never quite sure how to pronounce it til hearing a podcast about it.) Been in the US program and can tell ya, it has a great affiliate manager. He’s also the am for the UK program as well.

Really enjoy your podcasts and definitely will be tuning in in the future as well.:)

Hi purplebear - glad you are still around reading & listening! Thanks for the feedback. If there are any specific areas you think it would be good to cover then do let me know. Any thing else you have learned now that would have been useful when you were getting started?

Yeap, I love listening to podcasts especially as a way of learning.:) Listened to just a few of yours so far but intend to listen to quite a few if not all. You’re very easy to listen to and they’ve been quite interesting.

Not sure what all you’ve covered since only have heard a few. I definitely have a lot still to learn about pay per click, rss feeds, increasing traffic. Lots still to learn. All topics related interest me and am always trying to learn.

hmmm honestly knew absolutely nothing when I started so everything would’ve been very useful back then. lol Hadn’t even heard the word affiliate or knew what a network was. I was just making searches for sites featuring products I was interested in on my own. Didn’t know html…. really knew nothing. lol
I’m off to listen to another.:)
