Old Spyware Videos

I stumbled across these video’s again while trying to find something else on my hard drive and thought it might be interesting to put them online again. I created these a while back (probably around 2 years ago) at a time when UK affiliates were really working together well to get spyware kicked off the networks. Things seem to have quietened down a bit now but I’m not really sure if that’s because the spyware has gone or because we have all take our eye of the ball.

The spyware video has got my interest back so I’ll try and look into it again soon and see if there is still anything so obvious running now.

Keep in mind that these aren’t current examples and these are just examples of the potential way that spyware works.

Thanks for your stellar work Fraser. It’s thanks to the hard work of folk like you that the UK affiliate industry is largely spyware free.

Ahh, I remember the first time you put these together Fraser and what a help they were for clearly demonstrating to merchants what was really happening without having to infect my own computer with such scum.

On a side note, I couldn’t help but notice in your videos the ads appearing in Google. 3-4 ads with the same visible URL – happy days :D
