I haven't as yet studied any paraphernalia pertaining to the IAB’s Affiliate Council. Granted I will be listening to what they say, and if called upon offering comments or suggestions, but the elements I personally will be looking for is to ascertain how attuned they are with what affiliates require & the limitations they prepared to tolerate, plus, aspects pertaining to the realisation that merchants & services currently involved with or contemplating affiliate marketing as part of their mix, understand that it is a serious sales & performance related marketing channel whereby affiliates must be treated with the respect they thoroughly warrant if they wish for this to be reciprocated.

For the IAB’s Affiliate Council to work, it will need to be accepted that all parties whether they be network, merchant, agency or affiliate, each in turn may require to be regulated, remembering it is called “affiliate” marketing.

I thought your comments in the publication were just fine.
