Thank You Hitflip

I posted a few weeks back about a free gift from Books Direct and Adam at Hitflip wasn’t slow in following up ;-) The hitflip blog is worth a read too.

Inspired by Vlad, I’ve uploaded this video to blip.tv and youtube to compare the quality.

Hi Fraser,

Thanks for the link. Somehow YouTube always “stretches” the video. From what I see the your original was save in 320×240 resolution. Blip shows it without modifying your video. I am not sure if your “content” allows you to do so, but it is possible to save a video in 640×480 size, which again will be played by Blip without modification. It is good to know because you can save different files for YouTube and Blip. I will most likely use the Blip for my websites however YouTube gets you more “eyeballs”.

Also Blip allows you to upload multiple videos at once vie FTP.

Great to read your affiliate marketing code of practice.
Those of us who abide by codes and ethics, so called white hat marketers, agree whole heartedly with the above.

The problem is the ever increasing army of black hat marketers out there who do not work to the codes and ethics of this profession. They are able to dominate the search engines without much of the effort it requires in the white hat world

I guess in the end, honesty of practice will win out in the long run

I’ve been submitting to a bunch of video hosts lately, and noticed that pretty much all beat YouTube for quality.

I suppose with their volume, they’ve got to really compress the videos.

Thanks for the comments.

Vlad – I’ll need to follow up on this and perhaps take your advice on creating two different videos. Blip gives an excellent quality but then with youtube I do feel you’ll pick up some extra views direct from people on youtube.com

Shawn – I think that’s a fair point about youtube and compression. Which hosts have you found to be the best?

Hi Fraser -

In addition to blip.tv, I like brightcove, dailymotion, metacafe, and Revver (where you can earn commission as a video producer and an affiliate running videos on your site).

Thanks Shawn – brightcove is new to me & I need to take a proper look at the rest.
