The Single Most Important Piece of Advice About Affiliate Marketing

“Make something happen

If I had to pick one piece of marketing advice to give you, that would be it.

Now.

Make something happen today, before you go home, before the end of the week. Launch that idea, post that post, run that ad, call that customer. Go the edge, that edge you’ve been holding back from… and do it today. Without waiting for the committee or your boss or the market. Just go.”

This is a quote from Seth Godin and it’s gold. It you want to get started in affiliate marketing you can look out for a good domain name, research some web development software, buy an ebook, read the forums etc. Those are all good activities but more than anything just get on and get started!

It’s so easy to keep reading blogs & forums looking for the best advice or buying ebooks looking for the magic shortcuts but the best advice is just to get on and achieve something now. Every day make sure you’ve done at least one thing that moves you forward in a constructive way.

Sound Advice,

so often in affiliate marketing I sit on an idea or domain, waiting for that ideal time, the problem is the ideal time turns out to be too late as someone else has beat you to it by then.
