Tradedoubler Reporting Upgrade

Tradedoubler have recently released some nice shiny new reports which look like they are going to improve on their already very comprehensive reporting system. I’m impressed with the approach to the upgrade for a few different reasons. The new reports look to be providing some extra helpful information with less clicks and there is also a 7 page help document explaining what has changed. Often network reporting changes are thrown in overnight with no advance warning or explanation of what’s happening so it’s good to see a more structured approach.

Best of all however they have kept all the existing reports in place to run in tandem until the end of the month. This is great when you need to quickly get information and don’t want to take the time to learn about the new reports and also means if anything goes wrong the original reporting system is still in place. Other networks could take note of this approach!

One problem is that the reports seem to be running a bit slower than they used to. I’ve also experienced a couple of errors setting up the “My Reports” facility. Although once this is fixed I’m looking forward to using it to get emailed daily reports instead of having to log in every time. This is one of the features that Paid On Results have had for years that I have been wishing other networks would realise is useful.
