Will Cooper no longer at Tradedoubler
Just heard that Will Cooper has left Tradedoubler. Now I’m clearly around two months behind the times and it might just be me but there doesn’t seem to have been much reported about that change or comment from the new CEO? This in itself seems quite a turnaround from the days when TD was leading the UK market.
I can still remember standing outside a pub in London with Clarke Duncan arguing with Will over spyware sometime in the distant past. While I strongly disagreed with the stance TD were taking at the time I always had respect for Will and the part he played in the company.
Where have TD gone since then and how are things going for you? Does this tweet from Loquax ring true for you or is it a completely different story?

Really really poorly. Broken links in the aff interface. No updates to affiliates when links get expired. Most of the time no response to support queries, sometimes with 2-3 months delay. This has been going for last year at least for me.

I’ve noticed over the past 2 months a large downturn in commissions earned via TD. Some of this will be down to swapping links to other networks wherever possible, but not sure what else is the cause.
Agree that TD used to be THE network many moons ago, but I think a lot of self-neglect, lack of communication amongst other things are to blame. The really need a huge shake in order to wake up as they could re-establish themselves in the market, given a bit of TLC.
