Wordpress Designer Required

I’m starting to think about redesigning the blog and I thought it might be useful to get some help from someone experienced in wordpress design so drop me a line if you think you can help or recommend someone. Brendon Sinclair was looking for the same thing and has agreed to pass on any good names so I’ll do the same in return.

Since I’ve mentioned Brendon I’ll just say that it’s well worth having a read of his blog if you are interested in web marketing. As my blog reader seems to get more overloaded every day it’s one of a few blogs that I still make sure I keep up with.

If you are looking for a designer i would highly recommend running a design contest on sitepoint.com.

There are some excellent designers there, it only costs $150 and you will be able to see a selection of designs from different designers before you have to make a final choice.

Read about my experience of having a logo designed here: http://dfinitive.com/blog/branding/how-to-get-a-40000-logo-designed-for-100/

Thanks - I’ve used sitepoint for logo design before but I wasn’t sure how it would work for this kind of thing. I’ll take a look again though.

Hi Fraser,

I used Kim Beasley in the US to redo my wordpress blog and forum. She is very good and very inexpensive.

You can see her work here: http://www.speedieconsulting.co.uk/blog

She can be found here (Yes it is an affiliate link)

Hope this helps!

Good Luck!

Hi Fraser,

I used a blog specialist, Arun Agrawal from http://www.rentablogger.com. He set-up my blog originally and just did a re-design. He is very knowledgeable and provides professional and cost-effective services. I would highly recommend him without any reservations.

Feel free to check out my blog to see his latest re-design for us: http://www.blog.esalesguru.com

All the best,

Craig

He did the redesign of cumbrowski.com which is still not live yet, but that is my fault :)

Thanks for all the suggestions. I’ll take a look at them all.

Craig - I’ve exchanged emails with Arun in the past but I think he got too busy to take on any new work.

Carsten - I really like the style here so thanks for the tip :)
